Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Spread the additional ketchup on top for a nice glaze.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
